DSS operatives await Apostle Suleman’s arrival

Operatives of the Department of State Services are currently waiting for the arrival of the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Suleman.

Several vehicles, including armoured cars, were stationed round the headquarters of the DSS at Asokoro, Abuja when our correspondent visited on Monday afternoon.

Apart from the gun-carrying DSS operatives, policemen drawn from the Anti-terrorism squad, were also seen around the premises of the DSS headquarters.

Also known as “Yellow House”, the road leading to the DSS headquarters had also been closed thereby forcing motorists to use a lane in front of the office.

A source close to Suleman said that the clergyman was on his way preparing to leave for the DSS office.

“Our father and the man of God is preparing to honour the invitation. Very soon, we will be on our way and we will inform you as soon as we are ready,” the source sadi.

The pastor had been invited by the DSS over his alleged sermon asking his followers to kill any herdsmen found within the church premises.

He said he was warned that the unknown herdsmen were planning to either waylay him on the road or invade his church to cause havoc.
